LabLink Education™ uses information only to provide, improve, and understand the learning experience.
Analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics records general usage such as page visits, device type, traffic source, and learning actions. You can decline Analytics or change your choice at any time from the website footer.
What Analytics does not receive
Research-paper text, lesson answers, consultation responses, uploaded resumes, and contact-form messages are not sent to Google Analytics.
Paper Coach AI
LabLink does not save the full text of an uploaded research paper in its account database. The extracted paper text is sent once to the Google Gemini API when Paper Assistant prepares a compact paper-wide guide. Later questions send that guide, relevant paper excerpts, the active reading activity, your question, and recent chat context to produce the answer. On Gemini's free developer tier, Google may use submitted content and generated responses to improve its products. This content is not sent to Google Analytics.
Outreach Simulator progress
LabLink saves only your current simulator stage, milestone counts, and completion history to your student account. Lab descriptions, outreach-email drafts, and practice replies stay in your browser and are not saved to your account database or sent to Google Analytics.
Consultation requests
Consultation responses and resumes are stored in protected LabLink systems for review by authorized team members. Responses may also be copied to an access-controlled Google Sheet used by the LabLink team to coordinate consultations. They are not sent to Google Analytics.
Account administration
Account and profile information may be copied to an access-controlled Google Sheet used by authorized LabLink team members to administer website accounts. Passwords, authentication tokens, and active sessions are never copied to the Sheet, and the account roster is not sent to Google Analytics.
Website feedback
Anonymous website feedback ratings and optional written comments are stored in an access-controlled Google Sheet. The feedback form does not ask for a name or email, and responses are not sent to Google Analytics.
