Co-founder & Director of Finance · Bruin Health Consulting
Jared studies business economics at UCLA and co-founded Bruin Health Consulting, where he manages finance and consulting projects for healthcare and early-stage organizations. His Deloitte internship and incoming BlackRock opportunity illustrate how analytical work can translate into consulting, strategy, and finance.
Computational neuroscientist & machine-learning researcher
Srihita builds machine-learning models that turn brain and body signals into interpretable insights. Her background includes doctoral and postdoctoral research at UC San Diego, a visiting-scholar role at Stanford, and work in digital health, bridging neuroscience, AI, and wearable technology.
Product Manager · Fireworks AI
Charlie builds AI products at Fireworks AI, focusing on post-training. His earlier work spans data analytics research at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and product internships at Capital One and ServiceNow, connecting research and data analysis to real-world product decisions.
Clinical Research Associate I · Cedars-Sinai
Carly researches biomedical devices and wearables at Cedars-Sinai’s Center for Surgical Innovation and Engineering. Her undergraduate work at @UCR examined heart-valve tissue mechanics; her next step is an MEng in biomedical engineering at Boston University.
Founder · Astro Flexion; graduate student · UC Berkeley / UCSF
Nathan develops wearable muscle-diagnostics technology through Astro Flexion while studying translational medicine at UC Berkeley and UCSF. His path combines mechanical engineering, Vanderbilt research, and manufacturing-science experience at Eli Lilly to turn biomedical ideas into usable health technologies.
MD-PhD student · Northwestern University MSTP
Alex’s path to Northwestern’s MD-PhD program spans cancer immunotherapy and health-equity research. At Stanford, he investigated engineered CAR-T cells; earlier work at the NIH and Penn connected therapeutic development with questions about equitable access to care.
Anesthesiology resident · Yale School of Medicine
Wassim is a resident physician in anesthesiology and critical care at Yale, following an internal-medicine preliminary year at UChicago Medicine. His interests in biotechnology, clinical trials, and drug development bring a perspective on how scientific training connects to patient care.

LabLink’s workshops prepare students to ask better questions, introduce themselves with confidence, and recognize the opportunities that fit. Our mixers and outreach events create the room to use those skills.
Students × faculty × real research conversations
Faculty shared ongoing work in a poster-style format instead of giving formal presentations. Students could move through the room, stop where curiosity pulled them, and ask questions in a lower-pressure setting.
Students practiced pitches, resumes, cold emails, and questions before the event.
Faculty from CNAS, CHASS, and BCOE discussed active projects and lab expectations.
Students used consultations and workshop guidance to turn conversations into focused next steps.
