LabLink played a huge role in helping me get started with research. Through their research mixer, I was able to meet multiple PIs and learn about the projects happening in their labs. I found a lab I was really excited about and felt a strong connection with, and the LabLink team worked closely with me to prepare my application... from reviewing my emails to guiding me through the process step by step. Thanks to their support, I was able to present myself as the best candidate possible and ultimately secure a position in the lab. I’m incredibly grateful for all of their help in making that happen.

Being part of LabLink was a great experience because it provided helpful resources like cold email templates and professional resume guidance, all created by students who had already navigated the research process at UCR, which gave me the confidence and clarity to approach opportunities more effectively.

LabLink has been very helpful with showing students what researchers/principal investigators look for in a student. Additionally, the club has been very informative with teaching one how to better present themselves whether in a conversation, email or through their resume. Also, you can tell the board members, like Yuva, genuinely want to help you through their thorough suggestions and advice.
